ANNOUNCEMENTS

 Hi again everyone. I should have added my name at the end of the announcement about Jan Tauber. When an announcement is submitted, you need to add your name as the person posting it as it does not pick it up from the Announcement submission.

I am still processing what Jan is having to deal with now. Am sure that she will appreciate hearing from her friends that graduated in 1962 along with her. Am very glad that I went to the reunion last year as Jan was able to attend that and we had a really nice visit then. It is a prime example that we can't take these lives of ours for granted and live each day to the fullest as you don't know what's around the corner.

I received a text from Jan Tauber Luther two weeks ago letting me know that she won't be playing FB Scrabble with me anymore because she had a stroke in her good eye and is going completely blind.

I spoke with Jan this week and she had a lady that has been blind since childhood visit her and gave her lots of helpful information. She will be coming to see Jan about twice a month to keep adding good and helpful information for Jan to work with in her new health journey.

I asked Jan if it would be ok to post this news on our Taft62 website and she agreed that it would be good so anyone wondering why they haven't heard from her in a while will know why.

Lets all keep Jan in our prayers and thoughts and I'm sure she would welcome hearing from anyone that would like to contact her.
